Year 5 Visit Butser Ancient Farm

Step back in time

In October Year 5 visited Butser Ancient Farm! Butser is an experimental archaeological site in the South Downs National Park.

They were able to see the ongoing construction of ancient buildings based on real sites, dating from the Stone Age through the Iron Age and Roman Britain, and finishing with the Anglo-Saxons.

They were able to take part in an archaeological dig and made some fascinating discoveries.
