  • Year 3 and 4 Christmas Performance

    Mon 28 Nov 2022

    Dear Parents,

It is almost time for our lower school Christmas production! This year, there will be three performances to give everyone an opportunity to watch their child perform on stage.

    The performances will be on:

    Wednesday 7th December at 1.30 p.m.

    Wednesday 7th December at 5.00 p.m.

    Thursday 8th December at 7.00 p.m.

For the Wednesday performance at 5.00 p.m., the children need to be back at school for 4.30 p.m.

On Thursday 8th December, children need to be back at school for 6.30 p.m. It is always disappointing for the children when they have worked hard and parents don’t bring them back for the performance.

Unless you have exceptional circumstances, and notify us in advance, please make sure your child comes back for the afternoon and evening performances.

Tickets are required for all performances. There is no charge; however, due to popular demand, there is a limit to 2 tickets per family.

Please click here to order your tickets. Please submit your request for tickets by midday on Monday 5th December.

Should extra tickets become available, you can request them via the form and they will be sent to you if numbers allow.

If you are not able to attend the Wednesday afternoon performance, your child will still need to be collected after the performance at 6.00 p.m.

If you are not able to attend the Thursday evening performance, your child will need to be collected after the performance at 8.00 p.m.

We look forward to seeing you there.

It will be held next Thursday 24th November and is an opportunity to to raise money for the school. Next week, your child will be bringing home a paper plate on which we ask you to make donations of cakes or biscuits for the sale. If you are donating pre-packaged cakes, please can they be brought in on Wednesday 23rd November. If you are donating fresh cakes, please can they be brought in on Thursday 24th November. Please can all donations be brought to the food technology room in the main corridor.

We will also be running a cake competition for the children. Every year, the standard of cakes just gets better and better!

This year, the theme will be the World Cup. The children’s entry could be based on a football pitch, shaped like a football or linked to a country taking part in the tournament.

Also, to raise money we will be running a children’s and adult’s raffle which we would really appreciate donations for. We ask that raffle items be brought into school on Wednesday 23rd November.

Next week, I will send another letter with further details about when your child’s class will be visiting the sale.

We look forward to seeing you next week!
