Dear Parents,

Unfortunately, I need to make you aware that Miss Sheldon will be leaving South View at the end of the autumn term, to take up the role of Deputy Headteacher at Rucstall Primary School.

Having been part of South View for just over 22 years, Miss Sheldon has made a difference to the lives of so many children and families and has hugely contributed to our school community in her teaching, leadership and staff governor roles. She is going to be very much missed. We’re obviously incredibly sad to see her go, but it’s also a brilliant opportunity for Miss Sheldon.

Sadly, Mrs Delves will also be leaving South View on Friday 13th November. She has been with us for just over two years and, during that time, has supported numerous children and parents in her role as Pastoral Support Worker. Mrs Delves will be taking up a new post at Robert May’s School.

I would like to reassure you that every measure will be taken to maintain the quality of education and pastoral support the children receive. I am sure you will join me in thanking Miss Sheldon and Mrs Delves for their contributions to South View and wishing them every success for the future.

Best wishes

Mrs Laura Turnnidge

Executive Headteacher
