We would like to invite you to come and accept your child's school place at the infant school office, during the following times:

Monday to Friday - 9:30 am to 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm to 5:00pm.

To confirm your acceptance of the place, you must provide the school with evidence of the address provided on your application and your child’s date of birth,

by Thursday 30th April.

You will need your child’s original birth certificate or passport to evidence their date of birth. As evidence of the address used in your application you should provide two of the following:

·         a recent household bill, for example a gas, electricity, water, or Council Tax bill

·         a recent bank statement, credit card statement, or store card statement

And if you have moved house:

·         a solicitor’s letter confirming that exchange of contracts has taken place, or

·         a signed tenancy agreement

Following acceptance of your place, we will provide you with details of the arrangements for your child’s admission.

If you no longer require the place offered, please let the admissions team know as soon as possible by emailing them direct at admissions.team@hants.gov.uk.

Please remember that if you decline this place, you are responsible for finding an alternative school place for your child. You are strongly advised to hold onto this offer until you have secured an alternative school place.

We look forward to meeting you soon.

Kind regards

Admission for South View Infant & Junior Schools

All applications for school places can be made at Apply for a School Place.

If you wish to apply for a school place at any point of the school year, the application form is called an In-Year application.

For main round of School Admissions for Year R and Year 3 applications for September of each year, please see the Hampshire School Admissions page here.

You can Learn More About the Application Process here.

After applying for a school place, Hampshire County Council will notify the school and we will send you an Offer Letter by email if we have a space we can offer you. You should receive this within 10 school days of applying for a place.  If we do not have a space we can offer you, we will email a refusal letter and you will be placed on our waiting list for that school year.

You also have the right to appeal any decision made about your child's school placement. Please see the Hampshire County Council webpage here for details about the process and how to begin an appeal.
