Starting Nursery Arrangements - September 2026
Stay and Play sessions
These sessions help your child to gradually become familiar with our setting and the staff who will be working with them during their time in nursery.
Wednesday 2nd September 2026
Parents and children stay together for this session. School staff will be available to help with the completion of admissions paperwork.
Morning Session – 9.30 – 11.00 a.m.
Afternoon Session – 12.30 – 2.00 p.m.
Thursday 3rd September 2026
We would like children to stay on their own for this session.
Morning Session – 9.30 – 11.00 a.m.
Afternoon Session – 12.30 – 2.00 p.m.
Friday 4th September 2026
We would like children to stay on their own for this session.
Morning Session – 9.30 – 11.30 a.m.
Afternoon Session – 12.30 – 2.30 p.m.
Monday 7th September 2026
Children complete their first whole session at nursery.
Morning Session – 8.45 – 11.45 a.m.
Afternoon Session – 12.30 – 3.30 p.m.
If your child has been offered a 30 hour place you can choose which stay and play session they attend, we would recommend you try a mixture of a.m. and p.m. sessions so that they have the opportunity to meet all of the children. From 8th September they can stay for the full day.
If you feel that your child needs a more gradual transition into nursery then please speak to the nursery teacher during your first session.
