Dear Parents,

South View Federation will be taking part in this year’s Harvest appeal for the Basingstoke Foodbank.

The Basingstoke Foodbank collects donations from across Basingstoke. These donations support local families through difficult winter months and well into the spring. Basingstoke Foodbank relies solely on voluntary donations to help keep their foodbank running for the community.

 

Taking part in the Harvest appeal means we could all make a real difference and offer support to local families in need. Without the help of voluntary donations, foodbanks would struggle to operate, and this is why your support is needed more than ever this Harvest.

 

Attached to this letter is a Harvest shopping list. We would like everyone to take part, so please send your child into school with at least one item from the Harvest appeal shopping list to help support the work of the Basingstoke Foodbank.

Please bring all items into school on Monday 30^th November 2026.
